Single family home, large back yard with deck and hot tub in quiet residential neighborhood in Long Beach.
Very diverse neighborhood. Friendly neighbors. One block to major bus routes, Blue line nearby. Near the LA River for long walks.
Home has 3 bedrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry area (new washer/dryer), 1.5 baths. Was built in 1935 and I've lived here since 2003. Central A/C, cable and wi-fi included. I'm a recent widow, have 2 darling cats. Lots of restaurants nearby, walking distance and short drives. Easy access to downtown Long Beach and Bixby Knolls.
A retired attorney who worked primarily in the non-profit sector including as President of the Los Angeles Zoo Association. Currently president of the Long Beach Qingdao Association (Sister City), past president of the Long Beach Public Library Foundation, also involved with the city's Homeless Commission, the Long Beach City College Board of Governors, several other community activities and groups. I play tennis 3 times/week. Recently widowed after 48 years of marriage. Have 2 sons, one in Atlanta with my wonderful grandchildren and one in Long Beach with a gloriously wonderful 18 month old daughter. Yippee. I totally enjoy the symphony, theater, cinema, but not now because of COVID-19. Do lots of zooming with my book clubs, other groups, love reading, nice TV shows (not too violent), and social distance visiting with friends. Somewhat politically active, proudly leaning left. I'm described as enthusiastic, friendly, inclusive, engaging and fun.Apply to Susan Redfield's Home
