Description

We are looking for a housemate to move in on or after 10/1.
We are looking to rent out a living room (storage area), bedroom and private bath in the basement. The living room in the basement is currently unfurnished and can be used for whatever you prefer as long as you are not a hoarder and no businesses or illegal activities can be operated from the home. The bedroom has a full size bed, 2 nightstands, microwave, WIFI and Dish cable. The private full bath is attached with full tub, shower, vanity and toilet. There is a full refrigerator in the basement for your private use as well as shelving to use as your private pantry.

Great home with 5 bedrooms & 3.5 baths. All of our children are in their 20s with 2 living on their own in CO and 3 in CA. There is too much empty space in our home. We reside in the Master bedroom and there are 4 additional bedrooms, one is used as my office. We are looking to rent out 1 bedroom/1 full bath and living area in the basement. There is a full bath is attached to the bedroom. The only reason that anyone else would go to the basement is to access the little storage we have down there or to do laundry, which can will be done during daytime hours 8am-8pm.

We would share kitchen, living room, family room, formal dining room, laundry area and all common areas of the home. Our place is quiet and clean, drama free, and safe and we would love to keep it that way. There is a dog door to the backyard and plenty of greenbelts to walk your dog should you have one. Dogs are considered on case by case basis. We love dogs, but you must clean up after your dog. Your dog is free to roam around the house and there is a dog door that goes to the backyard. We love dogs and your dog will get plenty of attention and love here. Cats are not allowed due to my allergies. You will have cable and wi-fi available in your room. All utilities are included in the $850 monthly rent and there is plenty of street parking. You are welcome to use our dishes and cookware as long as you keep the kitchen clean. There is a large washer & dryer in the basement and laundry detergent as well as cleaning supplies will be provided. We love a clean environment.
Also, there is a community pool and tennis courts that you can use.
We do not smoke and prefer a non-smoker. Absolutely, no drugs, no drama, no illegal activities. We live a peaceful, drama-free life and would love to keep it that way. We are looking for someone that is respectful, clean and works outside of the home. Month to month lease & you can stay as long as you pay rent & abide by our few rules, absolutely no drama. We have had a great, long term housemate and a nightmare short term housemate. The latter is the reason will choose to rent month to month.
The house is in walking distance to mall, grocery stores and many restaurants, park and bus line.

House Rules

Drama free house. Common areas must be kept clean. No overnight guests unless they are pre-approved. We must meet them and you must remain with them while in the house. Rent must be paid on time, 1st of each month. You must pass credit and background check. Your credit score is not as important as your ability to pay rent on time. We realize that people go through tough times and bankruptcy is sometimes inevitable, but please have an income and make rent, the roof over your head, a priority when budgeting. There is plenty of street parking, but you are not allowed to leave your vehicle in front of the house if it is not operational, the HOA rules, not mine. Please clean up after yourself and your dog should you have one. You can not operate a business out of the house, once again HOA rules, not my rules.

Meet Susan

We are a young (50+), active, friendly couple. We rarely entertain in our home as we view it as our relaxing sanctuary. We have been through the drama of raising teens and are still recovering. We love to travel and hope to travel more in the future. Therefore, we want someone who is mature and responsible and past the partying stage in their life to be our housemate. We are looking to rent the basement bedroom, family room (or storage) and basement bathroom to one person and possibly their dog. Once again, we love dogs, although we don't currently have one. We are available to look after your dog while you work and should you take a vacation.
